Looking after our mental and physical wellbeing is very important.

Year 4 have been working on understanding their emotions using the Zones of Regulation.

Here are some activities you could do to help you feel calm and happy:

If you feel in the yellow or red zone, try using one of these breathing techniques to help you get back into the green zone.



Research shows that people who feel grateful for things in their life are more likely to be happy. Why not try to find things in your life to be grateful for. You could keep a gratitude diary where you write down something you are grateful for every day. Or you could make a gratitude jar. Decorate a jar and write things you are grateful for on strips of paper to fill it.
